Artist Spotlight

The Artist Spotlight is a monthly artist feature on The Mix website and newsletter. Chosen artists are typically selected based on their involvement in the Artist Community Slack Channel or their participation in the monthly Mix Challenge.

The Mix Challenge

Speaking of, The Mix Challenge is a great way to get noticed by the Mix team (not to mention your fans)! Each month The Mix will release a new prompt. Most often the theme is musical, for example "Play us a new song" or "Play us your favorite holiday song". Occasionally, however, The Mix Challenge is a way to help share your knowledge with the community. For instance, last month the prompt was "Show us how you sync your lyrics"!

The Mix Sessions

A few times a year, The Mix visits music festivals around the world 🌎 to connect and collaborate with Artists like you! This is where the The Mix Sessions and The Mix Podcast (artist interviews) are made. The Mix sessions are very special intimate live studio tapings where our design teams and the songwriters themselves collaborate to make a video that is reflective not only of their band, but also serves as snapshot of the place and time that these festivals occupy. Check out our first episode of the Mix Sessions at SXSW!
