Within 24 hours of distributing your music, your release will automatically appear on Musixmatch Pro, ready for you to add lyrics. If it's not showing up yet, you can also add it manually from scratch using your UPC code.

Will my lyrics be visible to the public before my release date?

No. Your lyrics remain private and confidential until your official release date. The workflow is designed to keep your music safe from leaks right up until it's ready to be heard.

What do I need to get started with lyrics pre-release?

You'll need a Musixmatch Pro account on the Artist Grow plan or higher, this feature isn't available on Free or Basic plans. Once in, go to the Roster tab, find your artist, and either locate your upcoming release automatically or add it manually using a UPC code (if not yet distributed) or an Apple Music public link (if already listed as a pre-release).

Are my audio files safe from leaks during the pre-release process?
